Getting started

I learning the hard way, i thought i it would be so easy just rock up to australia and get a job. well its not quite that easy but then nothing ever is. im having to apply for a TAX no then after iget that ill be able to get a bank account then ill be able to get a job so prob in about a months time. Thank fully staying with family is keeping the cost down. Im staying with my cousin, tomorrow im going be staying with claire the oldest one who live closer to brisbane city so i should be able to get a few thing sorted. Its quite weird going from being on the move to stuck in one place, i feel like im stuck in limbo. see every one getting on with there lifes makes me remamber all the people that i have left behind or meet on my travel. well im going to keep blogging untill i have a bit more certainty in my life

    Maybe use this time till you can work to explore a bit more of the area on your bike/bus.
    I hope that the job situation there is better than here, I expect it is.
    Its good that you can stay with your second cousins for a while.

    Hi David,

    Finally got the internet up and running as you suggested. Glad you are safe and well and enjoying staying with cousins / family. I am sure you will work out the way ahead with circumstances sometimes dictating.

    Matt and I are well, although Matt did order a baseball bat in case the rioters came to the doorstep. Matt tells me the defense weapon sales went up by 5000% due to the riots in England. Wasn't sure to be more concerned with Matthew when he gets his beady eye with a weapon of mass destruction than the rioters. But hey hopefully all has calmed down Matthew included, he has now gone back to farming.

    due to management difficulties at Matthew Manor I have rehired little mummy.
    grandpa gave me some lettuce's which are doing well. i had some last night with dinner.

    how are the colonials, has our good queen Elizabeth civilization the natives or do they need subduing.
