Day 46 to 49: i think they are trying to kill me

Day 46: waited around for the feery and read my SAS survail guide ( yes i was bored ) bumped in to two irish guys on holiday manged to in insult them by say they speak english and they where like no we are irish, at which point i pointed out if they where talking irish which galic how would i have understood them thus they must speaking english as dont speak any thing else.... it was a very quick converstion after that. meet another guy on there ferry this time english who was trying to set a new record for number of music festival visted in 30 day which i thought was pretty cool plus he bought me three beers which all ways helps

Day 47: a long hot day not much else happened

Day 48: this was a hard days ride up lots of hill along very narrow road and tunnels. Since starting this trip i've come the point of be at peace with the possablity of death by trific accident, but there are two things that still scare the *%^$ out of me. First being  tunnels as they are normally badly lit and have no hard shoulder and trucks seems to take great delite in almost hit me, which bring me on two the secound point be nocked in to the side of a tunnel but left mutilated but a alive. if your are wonder where this is coming from there where lot of tunnells and i spent most of the trip thinking about this.

Day 49: no tunnels just crazy romen drives. it was when i enter the Rome its self that i became convidesd that every one was out to get me do they even have a trafic code here well if they do i can work it out..... im safe now in my hotel about to go eat so all well that ends well

p.s. happy B-day minkey Ben

  1. Phew, you made it to Rome and through the tunnels in one piece. Good news. At least you have a few days to rest before flying the long journey to NZ. Hope that you love it there, I am sure you will.

  6. DJ. I'm really impressed with how far you've got. Your little shortcut is a good decision. Maybe you'll be back in Kemble Court in a couple of weeks! Either way, keep thinking positively and keep going. New Zealand's meant to be amazing so you'll enjoy the scenary there.

Don't know if you got my email, I'm leaving Thames on Friday. Keep in touch
